Y=mx+b is the equation for slope intersect form. It is used to graph a line. M=slope B=the point at which the line will cross the y axis (Y axis is the vertical line of the graph) Example: say b is 8 and m is the fraction 1/2. you would go 8 spaces up on the y axis and plot your point
Y=output # , m=slope, x=input #, b=starting value
