Salut, je suis en première et voilà ce que j'ai fait l'année dernière sur ce sujet : We have studied child labour during the industrial revolutio. Child worked long hours and were paid very little or not at all. They worked in hard conditions and had a low life expectancy. Also, child labour exist in countries such as India and Pakistan. The joint winner of the Nobel peace prize in 2014, Kailash Satyarthi, is an activist who compaigns against child labour in India. Just like children during the 18th and 19th centuries, thes children can be found working in mines, factories, milles and ome are even used as soldiers. Today in the Western world, child labour is regulated by law. In the UK, children can work from the age of 14. They can not work during school hours and not defore seven o'clock in th morning or after senven o'clock in the evening, no more than two hours on a school day, no more than twelve hours in a school week and never more than two hours on a week end. During the holidays those under fifteen can work for a maximum of twenty five hours per week and those over fifteen can work up to thirty five hours per week. Nowadays, children are prohibited from working in mines unlikes earlier. They are not aloowed to serve alcoholic drinks and althought they can join the early at the age of sixteen, thet can not be used to fight until the age of 18. In reality, today legistation needs to be introduced to help proect children who are victims of human trafficking.
